Portrait of Boss
" Dear Ms Lazenby,
You painted a beautiful painting of my daughter's beloved dog 'Boss' for her 18th Birthday, 31/12/99.
This picture is a great treasure to us all as Boss sadly died suddenly aged 6, of a heart problem, possibly a bleed into the pericardium. So we are so very pleased we have this lovely picture to remember him by. I just thought I'd let you know as we are so grateful to you...
Kind Regards, JN"

Red Cadeaux and Dunaden, Melbourne Cup. 20 x 40"

Picture
Dear 'MC'
"Excuse the email
but I thought your extremely generous present deserves an immediately
response.  The artist has captured Red Cadeaux perfectly although I confess
I can’t remember what the jockey looks like.
It’s probably also a first to have an amazing oil painting of a truly game horse
coming second in one of the greatest races in the world by three pixels!!!
Perhaps if Sheikh al-Thani saw it the Artist might get a second commission! Anyway thanks so much again it is extremely thoughtful of you and your colleagues and I would be grateful if you would share this email with them."
