In creating this new series of works, I am pursuing my love of light and form, also my perchant for painting a horse's rear end curves! I like nothing better than a grey horse in dappled or strong sunlight. I have added the dark backgrounds to enable me to show the light effects with more contrast and to enchance the 'contre-jour' or 'against the light'.......
